Mind in Furness is a local charity dedicated to helping people with their mental health in Barrow, Ulverston, Millom and throughout Furness. Our Charity Shop Volunteers are vital to running our charity shop, and raising much needed funds for our work!
Do you have time to spare? Volunteering is a great way to meet people, use your skills and experience, whilst supporting your local community.
You could be part of our friendly team, helping to sort donations, serve customers and keep the shop looking great. Whether you can give a warm welcome to our customers, or prefer to be behind the scenes, everyone has something to offer.
You don’t need experience in retail, but a helpful attitude and willingness to get stuck in. Training, induction and support will be provided.
Times can be flexible, so please enquire to find out more!

- Ensure the shop remains tidy, safe, and welcoming by assisting with cleaning and organisation
- Work well with staff and volunteers
