Clock Barn wedding venue is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and hard-working Breakfast and Accommodation Supervisor to provide outstanding customer service to our wedding couples and their guests, following on from their Wedding Day
Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, the successful candidate will play a key part in helping deliver a smooth and memorable experience to those who stay with us within our 22-bedrooms, as well as the Honeymoon Suite and Bridal Preparation Room. Therefore, demonstrated experience in delivering 5* Customer Service is essential. Practice in a Food Handling/Hospitality setting is beneficial.
The successful candidate will need to be able to ensure they are committed to hosting our guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanour, work productively as part of a team and deliver excellent customer service, at all times. They will also need to take ownership for the presentation and maintenance of all designated Front and Back of House areas, as well as associated equipment.
In order to be successful, any applicants will need to be enthusiastic, extremely hard working, highly organised with good communication skills, have an eye for detail and a personable and friendly outlook. They will also need to be open to supporting the wider team by supporting in other areas of the business, when required.
Main responsibilities will include:
· Preparing, cooking and serving the continental breakfast offering to guests, the morning after their wedding
· Arranging and delivering ‘breakfast boxes’ for certain bedrooms
· Exhibit a warm and friendly manner, whilst following Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and operational processes, at all times
· Show initiative to ensure all preparation and service areas are kept cleanly and organised
· Ensure stocktakes are completed weekly
· Showcase excellent knowledge of allergens ensuring specific equipment/utensils are used correctly
· Correctly checking out guests and ensuring all bedroom keys are accounted for
· Ensuring that all areas of responsibility are set to the SOP standards
· Removing, washing and restocking crockery and tea and coffee stations, within bedrooms after check-out
· Sorting laundry items
· Deep cleaning of kitchen, night porter area and guest toilet, including hoovering and mopping
In quieter periods, the successful candidate will be required to complete ad-hoc venue duties, which could include but are not limited to:
· Car parking duty on wedding days
· Checking in guests
· Supporting in Sale and Revisit events
· Deep cleaning areas of the wedding venue
· Housekeeping duties
· Light admin tasks
· Light maintenance duties (for example, painting, fixing blinds, carpet cleaning)
This role is a full-time permanent position and the normal working hours include weekends. The successful candidate would be working as part of a friendly yet small team so full flexibility with working hours, especially during our peak season is required. Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
