Baker - Full Time
We at White Cherry Bakery are looking for an individual to join our team. Our business specialises in creating cakes and traybakes and delivering them to our trade and private customers, as well as some new exciting areas of the business such as shows. We believe highly in supporting local businesses and source as many local ingredients as possible and supply to local outlets.
We are looking for a hard working and motivated individual that fits the following criteria:
·Have an interest in food, specifically with a skill for baking, and be willing to train in food hygiene
·Someone who is local is highly important with a willingness to travel
·Have a flexible attitude and be willing to learn in all aspects of the business
·You’ll be proactive with learning all about our products inside and out
·Have an eye for detail and be able to achieve consistency
·Posses a full clean driving licence (you may be required to make deliveries, attend shows and run stands and stalls)
·Ideally be a non-smoker
·Must be flexible to variable hour changes per week depending on need
·We are a in a rural location so own transport is a must
The main role will include following recipes and baking with accuracy, packing and labelling products for orders, stock rotation and deliveries to customers.
30-35 hours per week, increasing in hours during peak times and holiday cover to 40+ hours potentially. Hours would be Monday - Wednesday 7am-4pm, Thursday 7am - 12pm/2pm.
