SEND Senior Support Assistant (HLTA)
HLTA additional :
- Leading interventions.
- Supporting planning and assessment.
- Supporting supervision of staff.
- Liaising with professionals and parents.
- Assisting with EHCP reviews and reports.
- Supporting the Centre Manager with day-to-day organisation.
- Helping oversee the smooth running of the provision in the manager's absence.
Personal care will be required as part of this role, including supporting children with toileting, changing and promoting independence where appropriate
Salary: £14.00–£15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
SEND Centre Support Assistant (Teaching Assistant)
Building SEND Castles Ltd – Ipswich, Suffolk
Salary: £12.90–£14.00 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
Hours: Full-time or Part-time (term time only – 39 weeks per year)
Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will support children on both a one-to-one basis and in small groups throughout the day.
You will help children access learning through play, outdoor education, sensory experiences and personalised interventions, whilst supporting their EHCP outcomes and emotional wellbeing.
The role includes supporting children with:
- Autism
- ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs
- SEMH
- Learning Disabilities
- Sensory Needs
Personal care will be required as part of this role, including supporting children with toileting, changing and promoting independence where appropriate.
Activities & Centre Support Assistant (Monday Only)
Building SEND Castles Ltd – Ipswich, Suffolk
Salary: £12.90 per hour
Hours: Mondays (term time only – 39 weeks per year)
Contract: Part-Time
Date: September 2026
