Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 2 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's developmental needs in accordance with early childhood education standards.
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
- Support children's social, emotional, and behavioural development through personalised care strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily activities.
- Assist in organising nursery routines such as meal times, nap times, and play periods.
- Contribute to the organisation of nursery events and activities that promote learning and community engagement.
- Uphold nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding protocols, to ensure a secure environment for children.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong understanding of management principles related to childcare environments.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and support junior staff or trainees.
- Knowledge of early childhood education frameworks and child development milestones.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving travel between nursery locations or community visits.
- Childcare qualifications recognised within the UK (e.g., Level 2 or higher in Childcare or Early Years Education).

Pay: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
