Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead and oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the store. Duties
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage stock levels through effective merchandising and inventory control
- Implement promotional activities and sales strategies to maximise revenue
- Recruit, train, and develop staff members, fostering a positive team environment
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Maintain accurate administrative records related to sales, staffing, and stock management
Skills
- Proven management experience within retail or similar environments
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent team management skills
- Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Organisation skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative functions
- Ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a collaborative team atmosphere
