Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and clients. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable, along with janitorial expertise. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, communal areas, and private spaces according to company standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities as required
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all surfaces to maintain cleanliness
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning materials
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary and manage waste disposal appropriately
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality sectors is preferred
- Janitorial experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
