We are looking for a Principal Technology Solutions Consultant who can lead complex technology engagements from initial discovery through to successful implementation. You will work closely with clients, technical specialists and business stakeholders to design solutions that are commercially realistic, technically sound and aligned with long term organisational goals.
You will act as a trusted adviser to clients, helping them evaluate technology options, define transformation roadmaps and translate business requirements into clear and achievable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy:
Assess client technology environments and develop practical roadmaps that support business growth, operational improvement and digital transformation.
Solution Architecture:
Design scalable technology solutions covering cloud platforms, enterprise applications, data integration, automation and digital services.
Client Discovery:
Lead workshops with senior stakeholders to identify business requirements, technical constraints, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Programme Advisory:
Provide strategic guidance throughout technology implementation programmes, helping clients manage priorities, dependencies, budgets and delivery risks.
Technical Leadership:
Guide consultants, architects and delivery teams throughout the solution lifecycle. Review technical proposals and ensure recommended solutions meet agreed standards.
Stakeholder Management:
Present technology recommendations, business cases and delivery plans to senior client stakeholders in clear and commercially focused language.
Vendor Evaluation:
Support clients with technology procurement, platform selection and supplier assessment. Compare vendors based on capability, cost, scalability and long term suitability.
Risk and Governance:
Identify technical, operational and security risks and ensure appropriate governance is applied throughout each engagement.
Team Development:
Mentor junior and senior consultants, provide constructive feedback and contribute to the continued improvement of consulting frameworks and delivery practices.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 7 years of experience in technology consulting, solution architecture, digital transformation or enterprise technology delivery.
Consulting Background:
Strong experience working directly with clients and advising senior stakeholders on technology strategy, systems modernisation or transformation programmes.
Technical Knowledge:
A broad understanding of cloud services, enterprise applications, systems integration, data platforms, cybersecurity and modern software delivery practices.
Leadership:
Previous experience leading project teams, mentoring consultants or coordinating multidisciplinary technical specialists.
Commercial Awareness:
The ability to understand client budgets, business priorities and return on investment when recommending technology solutions.
Communication Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical subjects to both technical and non technical audiences.
Qualifications:
A degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business systems or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
Mindset:
You are practical, analytical and commercially aware. You are comfortable challenging assumptions, managing ambiguity and taking responsibility for high value client outcomes.
Pay: £61,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
