Summary
We are seeking passionate Forest School Leaders to join our vibrant team at Acorns Nurseries Limited. Based in, this role is vital in fostering outdoor exploration and environmental learning for young children, aligning with our mission to nurture curiosity and development.
Responsibilities
- Lead outdoor learning activities and nature-based exploration sessions for children.
- Develop engaging forest school programs that promote environmental awareness.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children during outdoor activities.
- Collaborate with nursery staff to integrate outdoor learning into daily routines.
- Foster a love of nature and discovery among children.
- Maintain outdoor equipment and ensure the natural environment is safe and inviting.
- Support children's social and emotional development through outdoor experiences.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in outdoor education or forest school leadership.
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Relevant certifications in outdoor activities or environmental education are preferred.
- Experience working with children with diverse needs is advantageous.
