Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on experience)
Location: Beeston, Norfolk

Alfred G Pearce is excited to launch a brand-new opportunity at our new Beeston site! We are looking for a motivated and dependable Supervisor / Forklift Operator to play a key role in establishing and supporting our operations from day one.
This is more than just a forklift role. You'll be instrumental in driving operational performance, maintaining high standards, supporting your team, and stepping into senior leadership responsibilities when required.
What You'll Be Doing
As a key member of our operations team, you will:
- Safely operate forklift trucks and complete daily equipment checks
- Champion a strong Health & Safety culture across the site
- Maintain product quality standards and ensure customer specifications are met
- Manage stock accuracy and ensure effective stock rotation
- Complete production, stock and dispatch documentation accurately
- Support the delivery of production plans while monitoring yields, performance and waste
- Work closely with Procurement to ensure material availability
- Communicate operational performance updates to senior management
- Provide frontline leadership and deputise for the Senior Production Manager when required
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading by example and helping a team succeed.
Essential:
- Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence
- Experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- Background in production, manufacturing, warehousing or FMCG environments
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good understanding of stock control processes
- Knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards
Desirable:
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Experience analysing performance data and solving operational challenges
- Ambition to develop into a broader operational leadership role
