Bettamix Highways are looking for a HGV Vehicle Mechanic to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. The role involves the servicing, maintenance and repair of a fleet of small to medium vans, ensuring vehicles are kept safe, roadworthy, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs, and mechanical fault diagnostics
- Carry out six weekly checks
- Perform maintenance and repai r work on a wide range of vehicles
- Identify faults efficiently and recommend appropriate corrective actions
- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and DVSA standards
- Maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation
- Adhere to health & safety procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet operational targets
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused service ethos
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Candidate Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on mechanical experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong diagnostic capability and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
