About the Role
Casa Romana is looking for a talented, experienced and committed person to join our team!
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Front of House team member to join our established restaurant on a permanent basis.
The role is 30 hours per week, Wednesday to Saturday, working split shifts covering lunch and dinner service.

Your Duties
- Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service
- Take bookings by phone, in person and online
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Use the till and process payments correctly
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally
- Provide customers with information about our menu and wine selection
- Upsell additional items where appropriate
- Check on customers throughout their meal and ensure they are satisfied
- Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming restaurant and bar area
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
- Work closely with the kitchen and the rest of the team to ensure smooth service
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of previous restaurant or hospitality experience required
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Good communication skills
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and orders
- Good time management and the ability to multitask
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene
- Previous experience with a till/EPOS system is an advantage
- Previous bar or wine service experience is desirable
- A genuine interest in food and wine
- Applicant must have the legal right to work in the UK. Proof of right to work will be required before employment.
