TPT is looking for a Pension Administrator to deliver high-quality Defined Benefit & Hybrid pension scheme administration to customers in line with TPT’s Business Goals, Service Level agreements and values.
Role Overview:
You will ensure excellent customer satisfaction, working to clear service levels. The role covers all aspects of pension administration, including calculations and member enquiries. Central to the role is the supporting of projects and provision of Quality Assurance resource to help complete system improvements and process enhancements.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring customer satisfaction is a key priority at all times and working in line with service levels.
- Owning and managing all aspects of the Pensions Administrator role , including all DB calculations, DB member enquiries and ad hoc project work.
- Mentoring less experienced team members and actively developing own knowledge.
- Checking for the accuracy of member and employer data at all times.
- Checking for the quality and quantity of your own work as well as that of the team. To carry out checking of colleagues work.
- Taking ownership of and showing a level of urgency in completing delegated tasks within the team.
- Building relationships with any relevant team within TPT as business need dictates.
- Identifying areas for improvement, actively contributing in team meetings, refining processes and suggesting change.
- Complying with the Data Protection Policy when dealing with personal data in the course of employment including personal data relating to any employee, customer, client, supplier or agent of the Company.
- Performing all duties in line with TPT’s Information Security policy and to act as an ambassador of TPT at all times.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with Defined Benefit Pensions
- GCSEs (or equivalent) grade C / 4+ in Maths and English
- Benefit calculation experience
- Studying towards/completed CPC/DPA/CPA
- Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Demonstrates enthusiasm for the job and able to work using own initiative.
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to changes within the workplace.
- Good level of communication skills and able to prioritise own workload.
