Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Greet guests warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems
- Restock bar supplies as needed, ensuring all items are fresh and available for service
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with guests to enhance their experience
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper hygiene practices and responsible alcohol service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- A personable nature with a genuine interest in providing outstanding guest experiences
