About Moods Leeds
Moods Leeds is a new café, bar and restaurant opening inside the restored First White Cloth Hall on Kirkgate.
The venue will bring together a daytime café, brunch offer, bar, restaurant and events space in one of Leeds’ most unique historic buildings. We are looking for front of house staff to join our opening team and help create a welcoming, professional and high quality customer experience from day one.
The role
This is a customer facing role working across the café, bar, restaurant and events side of the business. You will be serving customers, taking orders, running food and drinks, keeping the venue clean and presentable, and supporting the wider team during service.
We are looking for people who are friendly, reliable, calm under pressure and genuinely enjoy working with customers.
Responsibilities
Welcoming customers and creating a positive first impression
Taking food and drink orders accurately
Running food and drinks to tables
Clearing tables and resetting areas for service
Supporting café, bar, restaurant and event service where needed
Keeping customer areas clean, tidy and well presented
Following hygiene, allergen and health and safety procedures
Working closely with the kitchen, bar and management team
Helping create a professional and positive team culture
What we are looking for
Previous hospitality experience is preferred, but not essential
A friendly and confident manner with customers
Good communication skills
Reliability and good timekeeping
Ability to work well as part of a team
Calmness during busy service periods
Good attention to detail
Willingness to learn and get stuck in
Bar, café, restaurant or events experience would be useful, but attitude and reliability are more important.
What we offer
£12.21 to £13 per hour
25 to 45 hours per week
