Job description:
Due to continuous expansion we urgently require an experienced Warehouse Operative to work on a full time basis. This is an ideal role for anyone looking to work for a progressive company.
Duties will include:
- Packing orders
- Picking goods using a hand held scanner
- Loading and unloading stock
- Receiving and allocating products into relevant areas
- Carry out general warehouse duties
- Complying with company policies and health and safety rules
Workplace:
- Check all warehouse equipment is safe to use before carrying out work
- To keep a safe, tidy and clean place of work for you, other employees and visitors
- Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met
Principal Responsibilities:
- Communicate daily in a professional manner with colleagues, managers, supervisors
- Promote ideas for improvement and development of warehouse
- To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
- To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
- Fulfil training as deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in personal development
- Perform any reasonable request from Management
- Any other duties as required, commensurate with job position
