We are seeking a dynamic and experienced assistant restaurant manager to help lead our team and assist in daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts
- Lead and motivate staff, including serving personnel, kitchen staff, and baristas, fostering a positive team environment
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
- Coordinate food production activities to ensure timely delivery of dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs
- Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations across all departments
- Assist restaurant manager and support the team in their absence
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to inspire staff
- Restaurant experience, including food preparation, cooking, and service roles such as serving or barista work
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes
- Background in hospitality or hotel management is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanour
- Ability to learn new skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
