Overview
This role is for an extremely organised and pro active Personal Assistant who will be working with a busy sales logistics Manager. You will need to provide a high level of administrative, analytical, and operational support. Track sales, raise purchase order numbers, manage calendars, coordinate client meetings, , prepare quotations, and liaise with internal transport team to ensure smooth account on boarding and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software, providing clear and helpful information.
- Process customer orders accurately using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and CRM systems, ensuring timely updates and follow-ups.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and complaints in accordance with company procedures.
- Coordinate with the wider transport department to ensure a seamless service delivery.
- Assist with general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and document management using Microsoft excell and our transport software system.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales administration or customer service roles with strong administrative skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; and familiarity with CRM software is essential.
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly adapt to new IT systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills with effective time management capabilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not required.
Must have at least two years experience working in a customer service role. The ideal candidate would have experience working in an admin role covering waste logistics, articulated vehicles and tipper wagons.
