Join a Market-Leading British Manufacturer — Not a Call Centre — And Be the Voice Behind the Brand
At Hallmark Doors & Panels, we’ve spent over 30 years building a reputation for quality, reliability and service. Voted the UK's No.1 manufacturer of composite doors, UPVC, aluminium panels we supply thousands of customers across the residential, trade and social housing sectors.
Behind every order, enquiry, and delivery is a conversation — and that’s where our Customer Care team comes in.
Based at our Hull office, this isn’t a call centre environment or a numbers-driven role. You’ll be joining a supportive, close-knit team of 7 where your contribution genuinely matters. Every interaction you handle helps strengthen customer confidence, support our sales team, and protect long-term relationships.
If you’re looking for a professional office role where you can build relationships, develop specialist knowledge and grow within a stable business, this could be the move for you.
We’re looking for a professional, organised individual with previous office-based customer service experience who is looking for a long-term career move — not just another job.
The Role
You’ll be the first point of contact for trade customers, supporting them with order updates, product queries and general account support.
This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where attention to detail and clear communication are essential.
Responsibilities:
You won’t be “just another person answering calls.” You’ll play a key role in:
- Building relationships with trade customers
- Supporting customer confidence in our products
- Contributing to sales through excellent service
- Protecting customer retention through clear, professional communication
- Representing the standards and reputation of a market-leading manufacturer
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Handling inbound calls and emails from trade customers and homeowners
- Providing order updates (ETAs, product specifications, general queries)
- Following up on outstanding quotes or order queries
- Logging all communication accurately within our CRM system
- Working closely with Sales Representatives and internal departments
- Supporting with general administrative tasks as required
Our office environment is busy, collaborative and team-focused. You’ll be trusted to manage your workload independently while knowing support is always available from colleagues around you.
Full product training will be provided. We don’t expect anyone to arrive with composite door knowledge — what matters most is your communication skills, organisation and willingness to learn.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an office-based customer service or administrative role
- Is confident handling phone and email enquiries professionally
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple queries at once
- Communicates clearly and professionally with both trade customers and end users
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Wants a long-term role within a stable and growing manufacturing business
This role would suit someone currently working in an office environment who is ready to join a well-established company where performance is recognised.
Career Development
We believe in recognising and developing our people.
Team members who demonstrate reliability, initiative and strong performance are given opportunities to grow — whether into senior support roles, specialist positions or commercial pathways within the business.
This is a genuine long-term opportunity, not a short-term or high-turnover position.
Benefits
- No weekends or night shifts
- Two weeks off over Christmas & New Year
- 22 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Free on-site parking
- Supportive, small team of 7
