Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting and bar Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all customers. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximise guest satisfaction and sales opportunities
- Clear tables promptly and assist with setting up for upcoming service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle guest inquiries courteously, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen duties as required during quieter periods
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and serving protocols
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and transactions
- Good understanding of food preparation processes and kitchen operations
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance the guest experience
- Organised with the ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced setting
