Wildes Resort (Derbyshire) is part of Wildes Group a private group of quality hotels of distinction in the north of England.
The Place
4 Star, Award winning 69-bedroom hotel together with 2 banqueting suites catering for around 350 weddings and events per year, all within the grounds of 15 acres of gardens. The hotel has several restaurants including the Orangery Restaurant and Bar for more informal dining.
The role
We are searching for a professional, trustworthy Bar Assistant who would enjoy working an exciting, fast-paced hotel environment. The Bar Assistant will ensure that all of our customers receive the best possible guest experience with us.
- Mixing beverages using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits
- Taking beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serving drinks as requested
- Satisfying guests requests in a timely manner
- Providing a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with customers
- Collecting money for drinks served and providing change as needed
- Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
- Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories
- Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment
- Organising the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory
- Slicing, pitting, and preparing fruit garnishes for drinks
- Complying with all food and beverage regulations
- Limiting customer problems by restricting alcohol intake and attempting to curtail inappropriate behaviour
Please note both full time and part time hours available.
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
