JOB TITLE: Night Care Assistant - 34.5hrs per week ( 3 Nights )
JOB PURPOSE:
To assist in the provision of care and work as part of a team to achieve required standards. To ensure Residents retain their dignity and Individuality.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
* Genuine interest in working with a caring environment
* Previous experience in care / domestic environment
* Team player
* Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes
* Satisfactory References, DBS and check against the POVA List (essential)
Desired:
* Experience of working with the relevant Client group
* Relevant Vocational Qualifications (achieved / working towards)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* To provide personal care to residents, as required.
* To undertake certain domestic duties throughout the night shift.
* To respond to the call bell system as required throughout the night, treating residents with respect and dignity at all times.
Usual working hours: 8.30pm - 8am.
Must be available to work Alternate Weekend nights on a rota basis.
