The Bike Storage Company is currently looking for an experienced Steel Fitter (that comes as a two man team) for ongoing projects predominantly based in and around London, with occasional works in the surrounding areas, including the Midlands.
The Steel Fitter candidates must have previous experience installing structural steelwork, with experience in street furniture being favourable. Candidates must be able to provide a fitting mate to assist. We can discuss rates for the labourer separately, but this isn't included within the day rate of £240 / day; that is for the lead fitter.
The ability to work safely to a high standard using your own initiative is required. You will need to have a good understanding of health and safety and work under pressure, ensuring deadlines are met.
You will need to be friendly, enthusiastic and conscientious, have high standards and be described as hard-working, driven and a great team player.
Role requirements:
- Complete set of tools; inclusive of impact driver, angle grinder & SDS drill
- CSCS card
- SSSTS or preferably SMSTS
- Reliable and competent fitting mate to partner with
- Own van (travel expenses paid)
- English speaking
