- Manage the complete mortgage application process from initial submission through approval and funding, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
- Review financial documents, verify borrower information, and perform basic math calculations to assess eligibility and affordability
- Coordinate with lenders, underwriters, real estate agents, and clients to facilitate timely processing of mortgage files
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout all stages of the mortgage lifecycle
- Maintain detailed records of all transactions, correspondence, and documentation for audit purposes
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing clear explanations of procedures and status updates
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise during the application process to ensure a seamless customer experience
Experience
- Proven experience working within financial services, particularly in mortgage administration or related roles
- Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending procedures, and regulatory standards
- Proficiency in basic math skills necessary for financial calculations and data verification
