Duties
- Supervise night shift warehouse operations, including shipping
- Oversee warehouse management system (WMS) activities to ensure accurate inventory tracking and reporting
- Lead process improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety standards
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including forklift operation protocols and warehouse safety procedures
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and training sessions to foster a motivated workforce
- Oversee shipping & ensuring timely dispatches with accuracy
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company goals to streamline warehouse processes
- This position is 5:30pm - 02:30am Sunday to Thursday.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a warehouse or logistics environment with strong leadership capabilities
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse experience
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and ERP systems like AS400
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and logistics best practices
- Excellent communication skills for team leadership, and cross-departmental coordination
- Commitment to safety standards and continuous improvement in warehouse operations
