The Colony HQ is a luxury business members' clubs and events venue based in Wilmslow, Cheshire. Operating as a co-working space for members with meeting rooms and an onsite bar/restaurant during the day Monday to Friday, The Colony also operates as an exclusive event venue evenings and weekends.

The role
As a Front of House and Events Team Member at The Colony HQ, you will be responsible for:
● Delivering service excellence to members and their guests
● Maintaining luxury lifestyle standards with an air of exclusivity
● Preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and barista coffees
● Taking accurate orders, basic food prep and serving
● Taking payment using the POS system, and working as part of a team
● Maximise revenue and profitability of the bar (upselling, new ideas and promotions)
● Striving for perfection in every detail related to cleanliness and presentation
● Develop and build relationships with members
● Overseeing meeting rooms and hosting to a high standard
● Following all relevant health & safety standards and regulations
About you
To shine as a Colony HQ Ambassador, you will have:

● Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written - polite and positive, professional and personable

● The flexibility to work shifts as required Monday to Sunday
● Documented evidence of eligibility to live and work in the UK, without restrictions
Experience:
Your experience will ideally include:
● Working within a luxury setting / 5-star hotel environment (highly desirable)
● Hospitality experience of events
● Delivering first-class service & care
● A good understanding of food, wines, spirits, and cocktails
● Work well alone or as part of a team
● Effectively managing complaints
