Role Purpose
To manage, develop, and grow a portfolio of key customer accounts by building strong relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering value through Bufab’s Global Parts Productivity™ offering. The role acts as the primary interface between Bufab and the customer, ensuring both commercial growth and operational excellence.
Account Management & Growth
- Own and develop key customer accounts
- Increase share of wallet through new parts, service expansion, and supply chain solutions
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within existing customers
- Deliver against sales and margin targets
Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned customers
- Build relationships across procurement, engineering, operations, and senior stakeholders
- Lead customer meetings, reviews, and development plans
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and trust
Commercial Ownership
- Prepare and manage pricing proposals, quotations, and commercial reviews
- Negotiate agreements aligned with company targets
- Monitor profitability and take corrective action where needed
Operational Delivery & Collaboration
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, and Customer Service
- Ensure customer requirements are fulfilled efficiently
- Support delivery performance, quality, and issue resolution
Opportunity & Pipeline Management
- Identify, track, and convert opportunities
- Manage RFQs and project activity to completion
- Maintain structured pipeline and forecasting
- Capture and record all activity in CRM
Strategic & Continuous Improvement
- Continuously improve service offering, customer processes, and supply chain efficiency
- Identify opportunities for VMI and digital solutions
- Contribute to long-term account strategies

Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales or Key Account Management
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage complex customer relationships
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in industrial / engineering / supply chain environments preferred
- Excellent data skills including the use of MS Tools and AI Solutions.

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
