The Chiropractic Studio is looking for a compassionate and skilled Sports Massage Therapist to join our friendly and supportive clinic on a self-employed basis.
We have an established patient base and a steady stream of referrals from our chiropractor, with many patients already waiting for sports massage appointments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or expand their practice within a collaborative healthcare environment.
About the Role
As part of our team, you will:
- Provide high-quality sports massage treatments tailored to each patient's needs.
- Work closely with our chiropractors to deliver integrated patient care.
- Access patient notes and treatment plans where appropriate to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in regular discussions and catch-ups with the chiropractic team regarding complex or challenging cases.
- Maintain accurate and professional clinical records.
- Deliver exceptional patient care in a welcoming and supportive clinic environment.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a Level 4-5 certificate in Sports Massage and/or a Sports Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation degree
- Have practical experience delivering sports massage treatments.
- Be caring, empathetic, and considerate when working with patients from a wide variety of backgrounds and conditions.
- Be professional, reliable, and organised.
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a healthcare team while managing their own caseload independently.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, particularly related to muscles and joints
- Ability to perform deep tissue, sports, and relaxation massage techniques with precision and care
- Organised with attention to detail in maintaining treatment records and hygiene standards.
