About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Planner to join our team and support the delivery of high-profile fit-out and joinery projects. The role involves working closely with design, commercial, factory, and site teams to build, manage, and monitor programmes across all stages of a project. As part of the Project Controls department, the position also offers exposure to wider project management and commercial processes, providing an excellent development pathway.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project programmes using planning software (Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, or MS Project).
- Support coordination between different departments to ensure smooth project flow.
- Monitor progress and report updates to internal teams and clients.
- Identify potential risks or delays and support in preparing solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including subcontractors, consultants, and Tier 1 contractors.
- Create and maintain spreadsheet trackers and feed them into planning software to ensure accurate reporting.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in planning within a construction, fit-out, or joinery environment.
- Proficiency in planning software (Asta Powerproject preferred; P6/MS Project also valuable).
- Strong Excel skills with ability to link trackers into planning systems.
- Awareness of how different workstreams connect within a project lifecycle.
- Interest in developing a broader project controls mindset, with links to cost and project management.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A collaborative, proactive, and problem-solving approach.
