Currently a TEMPORARY Position with an immediate start to cover sickness but could potentially lead to a permanent position. The position is for our snack van delivery business delivering hot and cold food. The van goes out Monday to Friday to local businesses and Industrial Estates selling hot and cold food cakes, snacks and drinks.
Essential Requirements:
- Full clean UK Driving Licence for a minimum of 2 years
- Must be over 25 years old for insurance reasons
- Right to work in the UK.
- Be physically fit and able to lift and carry supplies to load the van
- Be able to work 30 hours between the hours of 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday including the school holidays. You do not work any bank holidays and get 2 weeks off at Christmas.
- 28 days Holiday - inclusive of all Bank Holiday off and the Christmas shutdown.
- Reliability is vital as businesses depend on us turning up every day.
- No prior experience required. We will train the right person with the right attitude!
- Loading the van up with hot & cold food drinks cakes crisps.
- Ensuring all food safety regulations are met oven and fridge temperature monitored.
- Stock rotation and display food to its best advantage.
- Visiting businesses and organising your time and route to maximise sales.
- Restocking on busy days to ensure there is enough products for the full round.
- Find and grow new business opportunities and in return a bonus is paid.
- Build excellent relationships with our customer base and deliver great customer service at all times.
- Unload the van at the end of the shift.
- Restocking drinks crisps and dry goods for the next day.
- Clean the serving area and removing rubbish daily and a deep clean on a Friday.
- Refuelling and reporting any maintenance to the manager.
- You must be organised and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
