We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista/Waitress to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees, teas, and other drinks, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit.
- Serve food items as required, ensuring presentation and cleanliness meet company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter, tables, and surrounding areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system with confidence.
- Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels for beverages and food items.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, addressing any queries or special requests professionally.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including food handling procedures and hygiene standards.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Previous experience in a similar role is mandatory.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a positive attitude.
