The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential properties.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver comprehensive building maintenance solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing and mechanical faults efficiently.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with carpentry, assembly, and other multi-trade tasks when required.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate professionally with clients and provide progress updates.
- Support site operations, including occasional heavy lifting and material handling.
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of building services and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to perform basic calculations for measurements and material estimates.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual tasks.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) are desirable.
