Fantastic opportunity to join this beautiful period property in Limpley Stoke. The Limpley Stoke Hotel has a well established restaurant, bar and large function and event space.
We are looking for a new passionate member to join our team as a full time Live In Night porter and FOH, ideally with some experience in food and beverage. This opportunity is for an enthusiastic career person who would enjoy operating in a busy Hotel, Wedding, Conference and Banqueting environment.

The Role
- To ensure the profitable operation of the hotel and the achievement of budget.
- To sell and promote the facilities and services of the hotel assessing and exploiting all sales opportunities.
- To supervise the running of the bars and conference and banqueting operation ensuring that all departments are informed of locations and times of service.
- To take overall responsibility for the correct lay out and servicing of conference rooms, and to report any deficiencies in conditions of rooms and equipment to the manager.
- To monitor guest satisfaction with Food, Beverage and Accommodation operation.
- To ensure the bar and restaurant staff are carrying out their duties as required.
- To see that all operational standards and instructions, as set down by the manager are maintained.
- To ensure that the requirements of the hotel licenses are strictly observed.
- To ensure that the hotel is maintained to the standard set down by the manager.
- Monitor the cost of labour and make recommendations to keep the costs down.
You will work 5 days out of 7 including weekends/bank holidays and will be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining an excellent hospitality service with a customer focus, to exceed the requirements of the guests.
