Job Summary
We are a very busy Tanning Salon with 15 sunbeds, we are seeking a reliable friendly and professional Receptionist / Cleaning Assistant, with experience of working in a very busy environment to join our team.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where organisational skills and effective communication are essential. The position is suitable for individuals who enjoy engaging with people and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Organise customer tanning sessions using a paper base diary system
- Provide safe tanning advise to all customers
- Provide product advice to customers
- Support other team members with salon cleanliness
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or front desk roles is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Friendly demeanour with a professional attitude
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
We are looking for someone to work around 2 to 3 six hour shifts per week, there is potential at times for there to be more shifts available. These will be mostly evening shifts 3 to 9pm, or weekend shifts which can be Saturday 930 to 1pm or 1pm to 7pm or Sunday 11am to 6pm. A rota is given in advance
You will be working as a receptionist with responsibility of managing a cleaning assistant or you will be the cleaning assistant for the shift. This is not a job just stood behind a desk, as we operate over 2 floors and have 15 sunbeds.
