Care Coordinator – Strayside Health
Strayside Health, a new GP practice formed from the merger of East Parade and Park Parade Surgeries in Harrogate, is seeking a Care Coordinator to join our friendly and growing team.
About the Role
As a Care Coordinator, you will be at the heart of the practice and often the first point of contact for patients. Duties include:
- Booking appointments and managing enquiries
- Answering calls and completing administrative tasks
- Supporting clinicians and chaperoning when required
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll support patients, solve problems, and help ease pressure on the clinical team.
About You
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, adaptable, and works well under pressure. You will:
- Communicate clearly and confidently with patients and staff
- Accurately gather and summarise patient information
- Handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality and professionalism
- Be reliable, organised, and able to prioritise a busy workload
- Show initiative and a flexible approach to work
Key Skills
- Ability to meet changing deadlines and multitask
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Commitment to confidentiality, trust, and professional development
Working Hours
Part-time, in person. Flexibility required, including 7:45am starts, 6:30pm finishes, and covering colleague leave.
Salary
- £12.71 per hour
- Rising to £13.38 per hour after a successful 4-month probationary period
