Foyle Food Group is seeking General Operatives to join the Loading Bay and Slaughter Hall team at our Melton Mowbray site. This is a fast-paced beef processing facility and an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK and Ireland’s most progressive meat processing companies.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all dispatched products meet required quality standards
- Maintain accurate goods-in records in line with company procedures
- Check and verify weights and measures compliance, including completion of required documentation
- Process orders in the correct sequence to meet deadlines
- Contribute to achieving team and individual KPIs
Essential Requirements
- Own transport is essential (no public transport links available)
- Ability to carry out quality checks, including beef specification requirements
- Previous experience in a red meat / slaughter / production environment is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Ability to work in a physically demanding and cold environment
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and adapt to business needs
Working Hours & Pay
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Starting at 7:30am
- Pay rate: £13.71 per hour + overtime
- Opportunity to earn additional bonuses after successful completion of probation
