We are currently seeking a warm, confident and well organised Host to join our Strathearn Breakfast Team.
The on target earning potential for this role is £35,414 per annum - comprising a base salary of £27,144 plus a qualified estimate of £8,300 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

- You’ll deliver a warm and memorable welcome to all our hotel guests experiencing The Strathearn restaurant
- Playing a significant part in making sure our operation runs without a hitch; managing queues efficiently and ensuring our guests are attend to
- Skilled in restaurant reservations; you’ll forward plan table allocations, maximising the usage of the restaurant space and efficiency of service
- You’ll be responsible for highlighting to the team on a daily basis VIP guests and any specific dietary requirements
- Maintaining the highest standards of service, room preparation and presentation throughout service
- You’ll take a keen interest in the operation and develop suggestions as to ways of increasing quality of service
- Proficiently up selling and encouraging other team members to do the same at every opportunity
- You’ll build excellent knowledge of the wider estate and the facilities available to our guests
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way
- Ideally, you have experience within luxury hospitality, however having a great attitude and thriving in a busy environment is essential
- Your perspective and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it’s the first time
- You want to be the best and work with the best – learning from the experts in our team and sharing your knowledge with us
- Your resilience and ability to deal with fast-paced environments is high, you always have an organised approach and willingness to consistently exceed our guest expectations

- You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner

- Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the hotel that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role
- It is estimated that in 2026, our full-time employees can expect to receive around £8,300 in addition to their annual salary
