We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join our night shift manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who takes pride in precision engineering and has a proven track record in CNC machining operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components while working to extremely tight tolerances.
As a key member of our production team, you will work independently during night hours, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities and technical expertise. This role requires someone who can maintain consistent quality standards, meet production targets, and ensure all safety protocols are followed without direct supervision.
- Set up and operate CNC machines including DMG, Mori, CMZ, and Doosan equipment with Fanuc and Siemens control systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications to determine machining requirements
- Load programs into CNC machines and verify program accuracy before production runs
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices for each job
- Set tool offsets, work offsets, and machine parameters to achieve required specifications
- Perform first-off inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet quality standards
- Monitor machine operations throughout production runs to ensure optimal performance
