We operate under Punch Pubs, an independent pub company with around 1,300 pubs across the UK, committed to empowering and working alongside the very best Publicans and Management Partners to build and grow best-in-class community pubs.
We're looking for fun, enthusiastic, and passionate Front of House Team Members to join our hard-working team and help bring our exceptional standards and values to life, front and centre with our guests. Full time and part time roles available.
The Role
As a Front of House Team Member, you'll be at the heart of the guest experience, welcoming, serving, and looking after customers so every visit feels warm and memorable. You'll work closely with the wider team to keep service running smoothly, even when it's busy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience — Deliver a warm, welcoming, and attentive experience to every guest, anticipating their needs and going the extra mile wherever possible
- Service Standards — Take orders, serve food and drinks, and maintain a high standard of presentation and cleanliness across the floor and bar at all times
- Team Work — Work proactively with kitchen and front-of-house colleagues to keep service flowing smoothly, especially during busy periods
- Compliance — Follow all health and safety, food safety, and licensing requirements, including responsible service of alcohol
- Cash Handling — Accurately process orders and payments using the till system
- Product Knowledge — Build and maintain a strong knowledge of the food and drink offer to make helpful recommendations to guests
- Standards & Cleanliness — Support with setting up and closing down the bar and floor areas to the required standard
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a bar, pub, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential, full training provided
- A friendly, positive attitude with a genuine passion for looking after people
- Ability to stay calm, organised, and focused under pressure during busy service
- Strong communication skills and a real team-player mentality
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- A genuine interest in being part of a pub that means something to its local community
