We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. Duties
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a motivated and high-performing team committed to excellence.
- Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Manage warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and transportation management systems (TMS) to streamline workflows and enhance inventory accuracy.
- Implement process improvements to optimize warehouse layout, storage solutions, and operational procedures for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure smooth external partnerships and service levels.
- Monitor profit & loss statements related to warehouse activities, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including forklift operation protocols, while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Utilize AS400 systems for inventory tracking, order processing, and reporting purposes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with supply chain best practices to elevate overall warehouse performance.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment with a focus on process improvement.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, supply chain management, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Hands-on experience with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms, and AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage shipping & receiving processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
- Certified forklift operator with current certification; experience operating forklifts safely is essential.
- Knowledge of 3PL partnerships, warehouse experience, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Strong analytical skills related to profit & loss management and process optimization within logistics operations.
