We are a small, growing business where every team member plays an important role. We’re looking for a motivated, organised and hardworking person to join us on an 8-month maternity cover basis with the potnetial to stay on.
This is a varied and hands-on role at the heart of the business, working closely with our Managing Director, customers, suppliers and manufacturing team to help keep everything running smoothly.
About the Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a range of day-to-day operational, sales and customer service activities.
No two days will necessarily be the same, so this role would suit someone who enjoys variety, is proactive and likes getting things done.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls and dealing with customer enquiries.
- Responding to new enquiries and leads with information, pricing and quotations.
- Following up with potential customers and helping to progress sales opportunities.
- Managing and maintaining our CRM system, including adding new leads and keeping opportunities up to date.
- Making outbound calls to existing leads and customers.
- Managing the company inbox and day-to-day customer communications.
- Acting as a key point of contact between customers, suppliers and our manufacturing team.
- Organising deliveries and liaising with couriers and suppliers.
- Supporting the Managing Director with diary management, customer demonstrations and general day-to-day tasks.
- Managing and responding to enquiries through the company Facebook page.
- Helping with general administration and other tasks across the business as required.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Organised and reliable, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive and confident, with the ability to use their own initiative.
- A strong communicator who enjoys dealing with customers.
- Comfortable managing several tasks and priorities at the same time.
- Friendly, professional and confident on the phone and via email.
- Experienced in administration, sales, operations or customer service.
- Comfortable using computer systems and learning new software.
- Ideally experienced with CRM systems, although full training will be provided.
- A positive team player who is happy to get involved in different areas of the business.
- Able to work independently and take ownership of their workload.

Contract & Start Date
This is an 8-month maternity cover position, with a start date October 2026.
The earlier start is planned to allow for a full handover before the current team member begins maternity leave in early November.
