Interim HR Advisor
Location: London (Hybrid Working)
Contract: Temp for 3-months
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary/Day Rate: £21 - 25 per hour
About the Organisation
The Bukola Group is working with a well-established charity based in London to recruit a HR Advisor on an interim basis for 3-months. They are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their People team and provide generalist HR support during a period of organisational change and development.
The Opportunity
This is a varied and hands-on HR generalist role, offering the opportunity to work across the full employee lifecycle while supporting key organisational projects. The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering people-focused solutions, advising managers, supporting recruitment activity, and contributing to change initiatives including restructuring projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and ongoing use of the iTrent HR system, ensuring data integrity and effective utilisation of the platform.
- Assist with organisational restructure and change projects, including supporting consultations, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Review, update and advise on HR policies, processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
- Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of employee relations and people matters.
- Support recruitment and onboarding activities, including drafting job descriptions, coordinating campaigns, shortlisting, and advising hiring managers.
- Support the resolution of employee relations cases, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters.
- Produce HR reports and insights to support decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to help deliver an effective and customer-focused HR service.
About You
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can quickly build effective working relationships across the organisation.
You will bring:
- Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor role.
- Experience implementing, configuring, or being a key user of iTrent.
- Proven involvement in organisational change and restructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience advising on and developing HR policies, processes and procedures.
- Previous recruitment experience, supporting managers through end-to-end hiring processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience would be desirable.
