JC Decorating and Design Ltd is a small painting, decorating, renovation and design business based in Sidmouth, East Devon.
Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Self-Employed Labourer to support general maintenance, repair and property-related works. The role will involve working independently and alongside tradespeople to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a good standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general labouring, maintenance and manual tasks.
- Assist tradespeople and contractors with repairs and improvement works.
- Move, load and organise tools, equipment and materials.
- Prepare work areas and keep them clean, tidy and safe.
- Carry out basic repairs and practical tasks within your level of competence.
- Use tools and equipment safely and follow health and safety procedures.
- Report any defects, damage, hazards or additional work required.
- Complete work efficiently while taking care of the property and surrounding areas.
- Maintain a reliable, punctual and professional approach.
Requirements
- Previous labouring, maintenance or construction experience preferred.
- Good practical skills and ability to work independently.
- Reliable, flexible and able to manage workload effectively.
- Appropriate insurance, PPE and relevant qualifications where required.
- Valid driving licence and own transport where required.
Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm
Starting as soon as possible
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
