7:00am – 4:00pm
What You'll Be Doing
As a Twin Screw Extruder Operator, you'll play an important role in manufacturing high-quality masterbatch products. Your responsibilities will include:
Operating one of our Twin Screw Extruders safely and efficiently.
Monitoring production processes to ensure consistent product quality.
Weighing, measuring, and processing raw materials accurately.
Recording production data and completing required documentation.
Handling and moving raw materials and finished products.
Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across the production area.
Following all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
Supporting the wider production team to ensure efficient operations.
This is a physically active role and includes manual handling of materials weighing up to 25kg, working with pigments and dyes, and carrying out general production duties.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Good attention to detail.
Basic mathematical skills for weighing, measuring, and recording materials.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to carry out manual handling duties.
Desirable (Not Essential)
Experience in any of the following would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate:
Manufacturing or production environments.
Operating extrusion or processing equipment.
Handling, weighing, or mixing powders, pigments, or additives.
Warehouse or materials handling.
Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
Pay
£12.71 per hour during training and probation.
£xxxxx per hour upon successful completion of training and competency assessment.
