Temp to Perm (Permanent Position after 13 Weeks)
Caval are recruiting on behalf of a long-established and respected engineering and fabrication company based in Coventry.
We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator to join their growing team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a stable and well-established employer following a successful 13-week probationary period.
The Role
As a MIG Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of structural steel components, working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality finished products.
Duties Include:
- MIG welding structural steel components
- Fabrication of bespoke and batch-produced steelwork
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Measuring, marking out and assembling components
- Working to strict quality standards and tolerances
- Using fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
- Carrying out self-inspection of completed work
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder Fabricator
- Stainless and aluminium work
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience fabricating from scratch
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
