Lead a Preschool Where Curiosity and Independence Flourish
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Montessori Preschool Manager to lead our welcoming preschool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional who believes in child-led learning, independence, and creating an inspiring environment where every child can thrive, we also have a forest school leader for each site delivering forest school.
As Preschool Manager, you will oversee the daily running of the setting, lead and support your team, maintain exceptional standards of care and education, and build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community. Working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm term time only (open to negotiations on working hours).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the preschool.
- Inspire, coach and develop the staff team.
- Ensure full compliance with the EYFS, safeguarding requirements and Ofsted expectations.
- Embed Montessori principles throughout the learning environment.
- Monitor children's progress and support high-quality teaching and learning.
- Manage occupancy, admissions and parent partnerships.
- Promote continuous improvement across the setting.
- Ensure policies and procedures are implemented consistently.
About You
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or above desirable).
- Montessori qualification or significant Montessori experience.
- Previous experience as a Nursery Manager, Preschool Manager or Deputy Manager.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Passion for delivering outstanding early years education.
