Job Summary
We are seeking a enthusiastic and proactive graduate structural engineer to join our growing team involved in the assessment of structures and bridges assets on mainly in the rail sector. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, proactive and have a willingness to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
- Carry out structural engineering related tasks under supervision.
- Inspection site visits, working at weekends and nights will be required.
- Preparing technical reports.
- Carrying out structural calculations.
- Carrying out project related duties.
- Attending project related meetings as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in working in a project related environment.
- Skill in carrying out structural engineering calculations is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to execute tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in the use of computer programmes like Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, contributing positively to the workplace environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
