Flip Out is one of the UK’s leading trampoline and adventure park brands, bringing high-energy entertainment and experiences for families and friends across the country.
We’re now getting ready to open a brand new Flip Out location in Cwmbran, and were looking for an ambitious, energetic and commercially driven General Manager to lead the park from launch and beyond.

This isn’t simply a Managerial role running an established venue, this is your opportunity to build something from the ground up, with our guidance and support.
You’ll be responsible for creating a fantastic customer-service centred team, establishing exceptional guest experiences, driving commercial performance, managing high level health and safety and making Flip Out Cwmbran a destination people can’t wait to come back to.
As General Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the successful launch and ongoing operation of the park. From assisting with recruitment and training through to opening day, customer experience and long-term growth, you’ll be at the centre of the operation.
You’ll lead from the front, set the standards and create a culture where both our guests and our staff love being a part of Flip Out in Cwmbran.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Taking full operational and commercial responsibility for the venue
- Leading the park through its pre-opening phase and into successful day-to-day operation
- Recruiting, training, developing and inspiring a high-performing team
- Building a strong management structure and positive team culture from day one
- Delivering an exceptional, safe and memorable guest experience
- Driving revenue across admissions, parties, events, food and beverage and other streams
- Managing budgets, costs, staffing and profitability
- Scheduling team rotas
- Managing and maintaining high standards of health and safety and compliance
- Ensuring the park consistently meets Flip Out brand standards
- Managing HR across the team
- Leading from the front during busy weekends, school holidays and major events
- Managing a team of Duty Managers who will be responsible for the day to day running of the facility and ensuring standards are met
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a natural leader and commercially focused operator who gets excited by the opportunity to build something new.
You might currently be a General Manager, Operations Manager, Venue Manager, Leisure Manager or a Senior Manager within a high-volume customer facing business.
Your background could be in leisure, attractions, hospitality, family-entertainment, retail, fitness or another fast paced environment.
You will be:

You will need:
- IOSHH qualification (preferred)
- Experience in health and safety and managing risk assessments (required)
- Basic HR knowledge (required)
- Level 3 First Aid / First Aid at Work Qualification (in date) (required)
- Experience in dealing with first aid injuries (required)
- General / Operational management experience (required)

- Competitive salary ranging between £36,000 and £38,000 dependant on experience

You will be contracted to 40 hours across 5 days per week, which will include at least one day of the weekend.
For the first 4-8 weeks during opening (currently planned for early November), you will be required to work both days of the weekend to ensure operational success whilst the business and operation settles, with a new team on board.
As a brand new location, we understand how important it is to have the right support around you. You’ll receive hands on training and support from the experienced management team at one of our successful Flip Out locations, which has been operating successfully for 9 years. There will also be opportunity for you to visit this store and witness day to day operation in person of an open venue.
This experienced team will share their knowledge, systems and best practices with you, helping you understand what it takes to successfully operate a Flip Out park and giving you the confidence and the tools to hit the ground running.
