The Role
We’re looking for a skilled decorator to join our team in Nottingham. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and enjoys transforming and maintaining interior and exterior spaces to a high standard.
Immediate start is available.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out internal and external painting and decorating across our student accommodation properties
- Preparing surfaces including sanding, filling, and priming
- Performing full-room and partial redecoration as required
- Maintaining clean and safe working environments
- Supporting tenants by ensuring properties are well-presented and comfortable
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in painting and decorating (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of finish
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence (maximum of 3 penalty points)
Remuneration & Benefits
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours: 08:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work
- Salary: £37,500
- Location: Nottingham (properties located near Nottingham Trent University)
- 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
- Uniform and PPE provided
- 30-minute daily lunch break
