Little Wings Dance School is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and caring dance teacher to join our friendly team from September 2026.
We have permanent weekly teaching available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Applicants do not need to be available for every day and are welcome to apply for one or several regular teaching days.
The Role
You will teach fun, engaging and age-appropriate dance classes to children aged approximately 18 months to 11 years.
We would love to hear from teachers who can confidently teach one or more of the following styles:
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering enjoyable, well-structured classes
- Creating a positive, encouraging and inclusive environment
- Supporting children’s confidence, technique and enjoyment of dance
- Communicating professionally with the school, pupils and parents
- Preparing pupils for school performances and other events when required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, enthusiastic and dependable
- Confident working with young children
- Able to make classes both enjoyable and educational
- Organised, professional and a positive role model
- Available for consistent weekly teaching during term time
Previous teaching experience and relevant dance qualifications are preferred. The successful applicant will need to provide suitable references and hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check.
Pay will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
